Christmas Closing Dates. With the end of the year fast approaching please check your maintenance releases for  any  scheduled maintenance requirements due over the Christmas period. RegalAir will be closed for two weeks over the Christmas, New Year break. Our last day for 2011 will be Friday the 16th December and we will reopen on Tuesday the 3rd of January 2012. If you have any scheduled maintenance due during this period we ask that you please book your aircraft in for before the 16th December.

OCTOBER 2011​

October has been a busy month with a number of significant jobs being undertaken. We hope to post some photos and information up shortly on our website to share some of the details of these  jobs.

JULY 2011

In addition to RegalAir's Cirrus factory approval for composite repairs and modifications, RegalAir also now has license coverage from CASA to undertake composite repairs. This brings our composite capabilities fully in-house.

MAY 2011

Cirrus Aircraft Limited Commemorative Edition SR22T launch. It is 10 years since the debut of the Cirrus SR22 aircraft, since then it has become the world's best selling single-engine aircraft. APRIL 2011

April has been a busy month with Perrin away for nearly 3 weeks completing a CASA certified group 7 composite course. The course was held in Brisbane and covered both the theoretical and practical components required to attain an airframe group 7 composite licence.  Passing with flying colours, Perrin is now looking to add this to his licences. In addition to this the workshop is in the process of preparing to attain CASA approval for component maintenance of piston engines. Stay tuned for more information on this.

MARCH 2011

Over the weekend of the 4-6 March, RegalAir staff attended the Avalon International Airshow. Flying down in the company Arrow IV we encountered strong headwinds and arrived to sub 15 degrees.  The weekend improved from there with great weather for the airshow on Saturday and Sunday giving us plenty of opportunities to get up close to all the aircraft on display. DECEMBER 2010

Christmas closing dates for RegalAir will be from 20 December to the 3 January.  During this period RegalAir will be closed for business. For urgent maintenance matters please call Perrin or Karen.

NOVEMBER 2010

RegalAir is now Cirrus certified for CAPSTM (Cirrus Aircraft Parachute System).  This means that we are able to look after line cutter 5 yearly replacement in-house, along with other maintenance requirements of CAPS. RegalAir sent 3 staff members to attend the Cirrus factory training at Sunland Aircraft Maintenance facility in Archerfield. The training covered Excellence in Maintenance, CAPS and composite repairs, specific to Cirrus aircraft.

SEPTEMBER 2010

American country and western singer Tim McGraw visits RegalAir as part of his Australian tour. In a brand new Cirrus based at RegalAir during the Sydney leg of his tour, Tim McGraw toured Sydney's scenic sights via the air with Cirrus pilot Randy Harmon. JULY 2010

In July 2010 RegalAir became the NSW Service and Warranty Centre for Cirrus Aircraft. We are able to look after all your Cirrus aircraft maintenance, warranty and parts requirements.
