Aircraft Supply

Our aircraft can be hired through the following training organisations. Please contact them directly to arrange hire of the aircraft.

The following aircraft can be hired through Schofields Flying Club:​​

VH-KKB is a Cessna 152. The Cessna 152 aircraft is a basic two (2) seat aircraft used for ab-initio training with a TAS of about 90 KTS. The 152 is a great aircraft for ab-initio training due to its low hire cost and fuel burn.



The aircraft is equipped with a KX155 nav/com and a King KT76A transponder. VH-KKB is rated as NVFR and can be hired directly through Schofields Flying Club, see our links page for more details. Photos to be posted up shortly.



​​VH-IIJ is a Cessna 152. The Cessna 152 aircraft is a basic two (2) seat aircraft used for ab-initio training with a TAS of about 90 KTS. The 152 is a great aircraft for ab-initio training due to its low hire cost and fuel burn.

The following aircraft can be hired through Sydney Aviators:​

​VH-IJD is a Piper Warrior I. It has an upgraded 160hp engine, fresh paint, interior and avionics. The Warrior is an ideal four place training aircraft for ab-initio and navigation training to PPL standard. With its 160Hp Lycoming engine it will TAS about 105 kts, thus it is also a perfect aircraft to take away on private hire excursions.

The upgraded avionics suite includes a glass cockpit ASPEN Pro with HSI, a Garmin 430  GPS /Com, a KX155 nav/com, Narco 150 transponder and a KT76 ADF. It is certified in the IFR category, making it a well equipped IFR trainer.

VH-NFR is a Piper Warrior II. The Warrior is an ideal four place training aircraft for ab-initio and navigation training to PPL standard. With its 160Hp Lycoming engine it will TAS about 105 kts, thus it is also a perfect aircraft to take away on private hire excursions.

The avionics suite includes a Garmin GNC300XL GPS /Com, a KX155 nav/com, King KT76A transponder and a KR87 ADF. It is certified in the NVFR category and can be hired directly through Sydney Aviators, see our links page for more details.

The following aircraft is available exclusively to UNSW Aviation:

​

​VH-CGT is a Diamond DA40. The Diamond is a four (4) seat composite aircraft which has been designed with both training and recreation flying in mind. It is powered by a Lycoming IO-360-M1A fuel injected engine and uses a Hartzell two-blade aluminum constant speed propeller.



 

The Diamond comes with a Garmin G1000 avionics suite, making it an ideal glass cockpit environment for commercial pilot students looking to advance their progression into the airlines.
